GSM Activate is a manufacturer of electronics and access control devices, which specialises in GSM (simcards) based technology based in West Sussex, England. GSM is the global system for mobile communication.
Who We Are
When used with our products it enables you to use your mobile phone as the key component in security, access control and automation applications. We always advocate the use of GSM over wifi, Bluetooth etc as with GSM there is almost always a signal available, and there is no limit to range.
We have recently upgraded most of our catalogue to 3G capable devices and are now looking to add 4G throughout 2020 We are a proud member of “Made in Britain” and can cut down on supply chain issues by dealing direct with the installers, usually we have the products with you by the next day after ordering. Furthermore we place a great emphasis on offering full product support which is reflected very well in our Trust Pilot Score and reviews on Facebook, Amazon, Ebay and Google.

yes these unit’s are quad-band meaning they work worldwide
The gate opener will cost nothing as it hangs up when it receives the call, the auto-dialler will charge roughly 10p a text for alarm text alerts and the Timer/Switch and auto-dialler will also charge roughly 10p every time you activate the relay as it sends you a text acknowledgement.
You will need to use a 2G Simcard, for UK orders we will supply one but for customers abroad please bear the need for 2G when you order a simcard from you telephone operators
Yes the box is IP65 rated, rain will be unable to get inside the unit and affect the circuit.
You will need to use a standard size sim, micro and nano simcards will not fit. You can buy an adaptor from the accesories section of the shop which will convert nano / micro to the correct standard size
No this is not a stand-alone unit, it needs to be wired into an existing electric gate system.
